Should we stop the "North American Union"?
This is high treason. Should we true Americans be willing to fight to preserve our sovereignty as a nation?
The reason we have all these Mexicans here suddenly and everything is suddenly in Spanish is that Bush wants it this way. He is doing it on purpose. How can we stop this?

No we should not stop them because all they try to do is help families in need and I am for that 100%. illegals don't do anything bad and to me they are welcomed here.
They've been really sneaky about this. It's awfully hard to combat an important issue when nearly everybody has been intentionally left in the dark about it (no media reports - I wonder why?)
Our only hope is to spread the word ourselves, and hope for the best.

Not long ago, I would have scoffed at your question as the work of a paranoid conspiracy theorist. These days, I'm not so sure.
The CFR is pushing for a North American Union. Although some of the ideas they published in their "Building a North American Community" report might sound reasonable, it looks more like another attempt to subvert the USA's sovereignty for the sake of corporate profits. One recommendation in particular caught my attention.

The report talks of creating a common North American border, which means they recommend that we leave our border security in the hands of countries like Mexico. Since Mexico is clearly an enemy of the USA, any plan that forces us to rely on them for defense is, in my opinion, pure treason.
The groundwork for this merger seems to have been laid in the "Security and Prosperity Partnership Of North America." Oddly enough, this is not, according to the SPP website, a treaty or agreement. http://www.spp.gov/
To me that sounds like a behind-the-scenes deal, and I've had enough of those.
So I say yes, stop the NAU, because I don't trust the goals or motives of the people pushing for it.

The north american union will work the same wonders for our continent that the european union has for western asia (aka europe).
It is a great idea, the sooner implemented, the better.
FYI: the true Americans are the peoples that were here before the Europeans! Its not actually happening. There are no talks about uniting the three countries of North America.
I have always supported Bush, but no longer. There is funding in place for a wall to be built along our southern border, yet no wall gets built. Bush is in favor of giving AMNESTY TO MILLIONS OF ILLEGAL ALIENS. I am very disappointed. I will be voting for Tom Tancredo, who really wants to secure our borders and is against any kind of amnesty.

There has been little coverage on this , if any , in the media. It is going on as we speak.

Yes,this is exactly one of the reasons for all of this.The NAU is real and from what I understand,is on the agenda for congress to deal with in the fall.The plans are already drawn for the super highway linking the three countries.
We have to fight this anyway we can.Our country will cease to exist if we don't.
Why do you think the wall hasn't been built? And the provision in this latest bill cuts the length of the wall down dramatically.It is all part of the plan.

Mexico has oil and currently doesn't let foreigners share in exploiting it. Their current oil field is beginning to be depleted. They have a huge field very deep in the Gulf that they haven't the technology or experience to exploit. Lucky Day! We do have that technology and experience. SPP would have free movement of people and goods (there goes what is left of our schools since Mexico does not have universal free education through high school) and would let 'joint exploitation of natural resources' begin.
It is unacceptable.
