I am from Russia, married to a US citizen. I love this country and I know that I deserve US citizenship sometimes even more than some naturally born citizens who spit on their own flag and refuse to work because they can collect a welfare checks.
I am from Canada. I moved here because my dad got a job here and I had to move.
My great grandparents came from mexico to pick cotton and oranges. And here I am a college student! Thanks America for giving my family a chance to make life better for us.
I am a "LEGAL IMMIGRANT" from Mexico and have been here for over 15 years. I came to America because my parents brought me here ( I was only 4y/o). I really love this country though because it's given me so many opportunities! I had to work very hard to get ahead of the game-- college---work---etc.(like many other immigrants).
I also wanted to note that it's very disappointing how most of the people on this forum are reacting to immigration --- or as they would call it "illegals". I always thought America was a place where people could come and be welcome by others. I now see a lack of "respect" and "tolerance" towards others.
