Can any one tell me what state in usa is best for a new immigrant to reside?

does any one have real knowledge or advice about which state is more accomodating for a new immigrant.

NYC all the way baby! People here are VERY accepting of people from different backgrounds and cultures. Plus the Yankees are the best.
Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama.

California seems to be the place for the illegals, but most of the other states seem to welcome them with open arms and loads of entitlements.
New York is nice, but Chicago, Illinois is probably even better. Not nearly as crowded as New York, probably slightly less expensive, cultural hub, GREAT food, it's the best place in the world.

Other then that New York City and San Francisco are the best for immigrating into.
You appear to speak English well, so if you are legal I suggest you avoid the deep south. Otherwise, choose the climate you like and places where jobs are plentiful.
All states are equal since immigration is controlled by federal law. Notice you didn't say if you were legal or not.
It goes without saying, but Texas is the best you can get in this country. Some will probably say California, but mostly they speak only Spanish there.

It depends on a lot of factors. What part of the world are you coming from? What are your skills and education? Are you single or do you have a family?
Are you legally here or illegally here? If you are legally here and can prove it then you can live anywhere in the U.S. If you illegal then the best state for you is the state of return to your home country.
