open border applies to countries within the continent of North America...i.e. Mexico and Canada...not Iraq

I don't have definite evidence for this, but I wouldn't doubt it. Why would al quida not form an army within the US? What better way to take over a country lead by global warming morons than to simple move in right under our nose and then attack? Then again, if the liberals get elected, then al quida will just stroll in here and take it from us without a fight. Seriously. If Al quida doesn't then the Mexicans will.

It would seem the first order of business for a nation enduring Jihad would be to secure it's borders.

when we have a terrorist attack by one of this group that snuck across our open border. the American people will take it out on all of our politicians, and hold them all accountable for there lack of concern over sealing our borders

I agree. It could be happening. We need to keep very few troops in the middle east to find Osama and bring the rest of them back home to control our borders. The National Guard is supposed to be guarding our country here, not in Iraq. We are fighting for freedom in a country that obviously doesn't want it. They want us out and they are going to continue to bomb one another over beliefs until the end of time! We better watch out until those brilliant people in Washington bring our troops home to guard our borders.

I heard there was an A Quida or some kind of middle eastern terrorist camp somewhere around Phoenix. I am from Phoenix and that is the rumor. I don't know if it is true or not but we should all watch our backs until these idiots in Washington do something about border control.
your not being paranoid. i hate to say it but yes. they are here. they're called sleepers waiting for the word to attack. the al quida is very patient. this is one of the reasons i feel we need our borders closed.

I wouldn't dout it at all. I personally have never heard of any o ther country on earth that is so easy to get into than the USA. I may be wrong but I have traveled all over the world and have always had to show my passport and sometimes step out of the car and wait for border guards to let me in. Why can't we do the job that other countries seem to have no problem doing, protecting their borders.
