Does a U.S. Greencard holder need a visa to travel to Germany?

Answer:
Green card is a residency card only, not a proof of citizenship. You are still Indian citizen and apply for travelling documents in the embassy of Germany accordingly.
I don't know for sure, but usually in depends, which country where you from.If You have a green card, that means you're not a citizen yet.
germany is not a part of usa
they may need it if not listed in exempted countries
depends what citizenship you hold, greencard has nothing to do with this.
