Immigration...what do you think of this?
Answer:
nope- never gonna happen
You sound nationalistic. I dislike the idea.
Passport!
Okay by me. As long as they are legal.. But you will have to go through legal channels to become a citizen.
i think we should just allow people to become citizens if they have held a job for like a month.. i mean if they are illegal if they can show they have had a steady job for like a month or so then we should allow them to become a citizen but fine them... we should also allow like 1 month passes and if u dont got a job at the end then u outa here
I can live with that. I am a big supporter of keeping the birth right amendment and would not like to see it drastically altered to satisfy a bunch of ultra nationalists.
do you have something against the mexican people??
if it were not for the mexican people, this country would not have survived the past 20 years.
..learn to speak spanish
i hate it, they have their own country but they come here?? its non-sence
most of us would not be citizens and that would solve what problem??????
This was the original intent of the law and we need to ensure that the original intent is carried out.
It's not the child's fault that their parents immigrated illegally. Why should a child of two parents who are illegal have any less rights than a child of two parents who are legal? I don't think that their parents' mistake should negatively affect the child's citizenship.
Logic never will be a part of the 21ST CENTURY POP CULTURE; it does not fit with the reqonquista agenda! After all they are only repeating history taught to them by the french and germans!
I guess it really doesn't matter anymore anyway. According to the Mayans the world is gonna come to an end on Dec. 21st, 2012 and immigration will be the least of our problems.
Have fun now before Earth shifts it's axis!!
Legal permenant residents or citizens would be a good idea. I don't think tourist visas and temporary visas should do it.
However, it will take a Supreme Court case just to take out children of illegals or a Constitutional Amendment to take it further. I think it is necessary, just as every country in the EU and Canada have abolished automatic birthright citizenship for the same reasons. It is far too abused.
If we do that, then how about not becoming citizens until you spend some time serving in the Military!
This country was built on the backs of immigrant people, let any and all who wish to make their home on this continent do so, whether as citizens or legal residents matters not. America has the resources to provide basic food, clothing, shelter and health care for its masses if our government would simply mandate it so.This nation would be one for all the world to truly look to as a caring, compassionate standard by which all of the earth could learn from. This isn't nationalism it is realism desperately needed in a war torn planet where division in every sector divides and destroys the human family. End immigration opposition, establish equality throughout the world by beginning here in the home of the brave and land of the free. For more visit 666MarkofAmerica.com
Seems like the obvious solution to the loophole that has been open for far too long.
Who cares?.Deport everyone and give it back to Tonto over here>>>>>>>>>
that's not what American is about. you think it's not fair that you are sharing citizenship with a kid whose parents are "illegal." you now need to get a life.
