1986 amnesty bill-seems like congress forgot a few things?
1. "strengthen the enforcement of immigration laws (including sanctions for employers who knowingly hire illegal aliens)"
A. Guess they forgot about that.
2. "increase border controls"
A. yeah, they passed a 800 mile border fence.. but forgot to fund it.
3. "create a program to verify the immigration status of aliens applying for certain welfare benefits."
A. Why do they need to include this in the new amnesty bill?
This bill makes me sick. The congress is refusing to listen to the people and the majority of the people will put them right back into office, because they say they want to change things.

When they passed the 1968 amnesty, they were only giving window dressing to enforcement in order to grant status to the illegals
