hehehe.I wish it was so easy.! Canada would have the immigrants they needed and it would solve our immigration problems.

Did you see in the new proposal that the touch back doesn't necessarily make immigrants go to their own country to apply for a green card if they go that route? If Mexican newly-legalized are closer to Canada, the proposal would let them (or Indian or Chinese or Irish etc. newly legalized) go to Canada to 'touch back' instead.
Do you think they bothered to clear that with Canada?

You got DAR and Angela to agree. I think you should be the next secretary of State. I have Canadian relatives and I do see Angelas point. All the Hispanic I met there are professional in attitude. They are not as accepting as some might have people believe. I do put Canada as being more receptive, but I do hear statements of fear as well. As for Canadians complaining how intolerant we are. Most developed nation s has insulted us on our immigration policy and have turned around and made policies more stringent in their own. I've seen it in France, England and Australia. People like to complain about other country so they won't look bad. Your here long enough to notice attacks on Muslim, Indian, Pakistani, and Polish immigrants in some of these nations.
