What turn out do you expect to see??
I think not . . . I predict a small turn out, what do you think??
Answer:
Absolutely agree. couple hundred maybe not even that. But yet u hear on this forum "majority of Americans are against this Bill". If that were so they'd expect more than a couple thousand. People talk out their @ss with nothing to back it up.
I expect that anyone who is able will make it, I know of people taking time off work for it so I think it will be good.
yeah, a good ten people or so.
I predict a large turn out. People are pissed and amnesty is wrong!
Besides, the turnout this year, and last, was much smaller that they estimated when the illegals were demanding amnesty! Remember that! They even lied about how many showed up to make it sound like it was a success!
Hey, Mrs. Jetter! You think that there aren't a majority of people here that are anti-amnesty? You haven't been here very long! Some questions only have MAYBE one pro-illegal answer, The rest of us are livid and angry about what is happening. BTW, MOST AMERICANS are angry also.
You must not have heard how Congress is concerned about all the anti-amnesty calls and letters they have received. We don't do anything about our concerns? Take you head out of the sand, dear!
Ed Royce (Fullerton, CA) flat out stated that talk radio and the voters are what stalled the Senate's piece of crap!
Your comparison is flawed. If you recall the pro immigration rallies were conducted all over the nation. This is one rally in one town. Try again.
I think instead of marching, people should do some research on why immigration has become such a "problem." You can't change something until you understand it.
It may be a small turn out only because most of us can't get there. I do my part by calling and e-mailing my senators, the White House, the Republican Party headquarters and letting them know I do not want this bill passed and I will not vote for anyone who votes for this amnesty bill. Thousands of others are doing the same thing.
Not passionate.
I've sent out over 600 emails and faxes in the last 4 weeks to anyone and their dog that is involved with this mess of a bill.
News flash for you Sparky. There are thousands out there doing the same things I am. We're being smart and working the system putting pressure where it needs to be put.
The gloves are off and playtime is over.
Considering that this is a grass-roots effort, and basically the folks who organized it had to rely on the Internet and NOT the mainstream media! (Isn't that a crock of ****?) that those traitors who work for the Big Corporations haven't and probably won't at least mention it so that maybe MORE people would have been aware! I wouldn't have even learned of it unless I had seen about it on Y!A. About two days ago the States that were involved numbered about 14, today when I looked there were 41! States are having their own rallies at their own State Capitals, like in the case of Columbus, OH where I live, so even though I can't attend the one in D.C., it is available for me and other Ohioans to attend there, and so are the rest of the other involved States. Tomorrow is when the big speakers will be heard! And I can't wait to see how they represent. And for all those naysayers, at least it is an event that is happening at all! The media sure shoved it down our throats when those illegals were protesting, and we should want to be a part of the flip-side to that!
Americans don't march as a rule. We are actively engaged, and our Senators are fully aware of that.
And unlike those illegally here, we can vote them out. I don't think that point is lost on them.
No one is trying for millions, but it will be quite enough to keep the pressure on, I am confident.
You worried?Sounds like it as you should be.
it's only going to be half, i really doubt it it's going to be more since they usually can only talk but not back it down..
