It belongs to all of us. Those parks are our American heritage. What's wrong with sharing those wonderful parks? Both the perks and responsibilities of keeping them in pristine condition.

I would say yes, and the reason is that the native americans have been treated worse than any group of people in this country even blacks. They were exterminated, some enslaved, robbed on every occasion, and expected to content with what they were given. I think they deserve respect, and they are one group who has complained the least even though they were treated the worst. I think that would be the least our gov. could do for them.

It would be great if they could live there as the Native Americans did a 100 years ago , maybe take all motor vehicle out , except for designated areas .
We could really see how America was before the white man spoiled it .
After all , they knew how to care for the land and Mother Earth hundreds of years before the Europeans showed up and did a good job of it to .

I believe some of the parks should be turned back to the native peoples..Bear butte in SD..Parts of the Black Hills...Traditional Spiritual Places..I think the Parks service does a good job if we could keep politics out of it.
Um, why? Are they out of real estate for casinos? The Native Americans aren't sleeping in tents anymore. If given the National Parks, they'll develop them, and there will be no more parks.
