Please post legitimate immigration questions that would open and lead to honest debates, not this type of nonsense. Honestly, we couldn't care less whether they are trying to fake accents or not.
I support amnesty for illegals and I am not Mexican. I am not really getting your point though, how do you know how people are supposed to act? Are there some guidelines to follow if you live here and are Mexican- American or if you live in Mexico or even if you are a white American?
Rather odd that the1st time I read the word "pocho" is on here...as a MEXICAN-AMERICAN I act and think for myself, not for someone else's benefit...being bilingual is a benefit and ... I am able to read, write and spoke both languages fluently....how many other people can actually say this with pride?
I nor do I know of anyone that fakes a "Hispanic" accent, unless it's a want to be white person trying to pass as a Mexican-American, and we know those folks....they sound "white".

I have never heard that term. People usually call Americans of Mexican parents Chicanos. I dont think that they support illegal immigration for that reason, they are probably just intelligent and realistic!
which fake accent? I most certainly know Spanish..and I am not Mexican. Hispanic yes, Mexican no. I am a US citizen and so were my ancestors. We were Texans before that. No fake accent either since I lived in a foreign country for awhile..and who would want an accent like los Tigres del Norte? Personally I prefer the accents a little further to the south as the Spanish is more castillian.
I can have everything written in one language or the other. It makes no real difference to me. However, not everyone can read the English language as proficiently as I can. That includes some English speakers.
