If there are no candidates for a particular job then it is simply because the pay and conditions arent good enough to attract potential employees.
Unfortunately,immigration means that the employer will fill the vacancy regardless of low pay.
lets look at the situation again without immigrants and with market forces at work.
The vacancy will be filled as soon as the pay meets the desired level.If the employer cannot afford to meet this pay level,then he must increase his costs to his customers.If his customers find this is uncompetitive,they will go elsewhere and he will go bust.C'est la vie.
His exit from the market will allow similar industry trade to benefit from his absence,customers will have less choice and be forced to pay the new price.The increased profit margin will allow the employer to meet the critical pay level desired by the job candidate.
Presto,capitalism and free market saves the day and immigration activists have to smoke some more joints and think of another reason why immigration benefits us all.

There are some vocations that are almost always worked by immigrants whether legal or illegal.
Ask anyone who works in a restaurant and anyone who's ever been around agriculture.
Americans, with all the benefits we have just because we live in the US, should never be competing with jobs worked by immigrants.
We're taught English from the time we're born and we have ample access to formal education. If your jobs are being taken by immigrants I would strongly suggest you (rhetorical you) go to school and make something more of yourself.

I think most people seek the best jobs. If those jobs remained unfilled by because American workers are able to find more gainful employment elsewhere.
I think people who have been in prison for felonies have a hard time getting a job why don't there parole officers place them in the jobs illegal aliens do at least they would have a base on there resumes. then they would have money for drugs and wouldn't steal to get them. if they don't check for there green card i doubt they have drug testing or criminal background checks. I picked strawberrys when i was broke once so i could have money 2 go to bingo and i won about $100 so i think some americans will do those jobs.

work the fields, pick up trash on the side of the roads, same
with the people that are arrested for drunk driving and

How do explain all those nice people in Disney World keeping it in immaculate condition, singing and smiling and not one asked to tipped. Unlike elsewhere, where subsidising the wages bill seemed to be the norm.

You had a job market with no migrants the choices of goods would dramatically be reduced, and the prices would be higher because of the limited choices and competition. Free Trade, and immigration go hand in hand. Figure, Mexico and Untied States could benefit each other, and the Mexican economy is hurting because of the lack of the skilled workers in the middle end of the job markets, and Untied States has plenty of lowskilled work to offer. The Mexican goverment would be smart to open up immigration to American workers that middle skilled, and lack a job that to thier level of skill. Mexcian lacks skilled trades people, IT people, and other workers in the midrange. Gobalization here to stay, and India, China will undercut advance economies to the upper middle economies all day long for the next 30 years. Therefore; to compete with China, India, the middle high income countries like Argentina, South Africa, Mexico, Russia, and advance economies should open thier labor markets to each other I bet the lower income middle income countries would catch to UK, USA within 20 years Productivity gains would fast outstrip wages, and if we keep same immigration rules and trade rules only the super rich elite will benefit because they will move company headquarters to the cheapest locales.
If there are so many US born citizens willing to work fast food restaurants then why do a dozen of them in my neighborhood always have help wanted signs in the windows? And if undocumented workers suddenly disappeared from the US do you really think those places would suddenly start offering 15.00 per hour...? The key to a better wage is education, not deporting illegals.

There are more white people on welfare than there are mexicans.And they do not get welfare for everyone.It is only for the American born children ,As do all qualified Americans.Thats what its there for...then again our honorable Military families also have to go on the welfare system to feed their families becuase the goverment doesnt pay them enough/
Until you work in the fields I suggest you shut up.They work in 100 degree weather You don't. Why you ask I'll tell you..Something you don't do because you might sunburn, and get on workmans comp , ask for a mexican to come cook your meals and do your laundry because you can't move , sue the city , because you develope skin cancer , collect welfare,and have charity pay your bills .Then you have to have phyical therpy because you couldnt move.. now your stiff.Meanwhile your lawyer tells you to drag it on as long as possible. your doctor gives you a handicap sticker cause you cant walk 10 feet.and all the while laughing all the way to the bank.
I am American and I did work the fields.And yes mexicans work all the jobs outside such as construction and garbage collecting.Field work is HARD!Working in any kind of job outside is cold.Illegals dont have benefits.If they fall and injure themselves they dont eat.

Another fact for you. Only 25% of jobs in agriculture in the U.S. are filled by illegal aliens. That means that the other 75% are filled by Americans. There are numerous job fields increasingly being filled by illegal aliens.

I know alot of high schoolers and college students who are willing to work at McDonalds yet they re shut out by Marta and Pepe who don't speak a word of english (and never ever care to) and are Manager of the place. They act like it is OUR damn responsibility to take care of them and feel sorry because they're trying to feed their families. I for one would like a freaking CHOICE of who and what type of people I want to help. It sure would be a people from other countries who are 10 times poorer than them. Even Mexico has "undocumented" Guatemalans "doing the jobs they don't want to do". Every country has their class system, and it's usually the poor class who tend to do the menial jobs.
The difference with us is that, due to many traitors in our midst, we now have essentially an open border. This means that our poor class, or the only people "wanting to do those jobs", will by default be the Latin American immigrants.
