I'm an expat in Dubai. What procedures are there to do to bring my wife and two daughters here?

She'll be working here too. The children will be taken care by my parents for a while. Three or four months perhaps.

Answer:
If you are holding an employment visa and already stamped in your passport, you can apply for residence visa for your wife and children to Dubai as long as you meet certain requirements (to sponsor wife and children is minimum AED4K / mo)

Spouse can have 'husband' visa and unmarried daughters over 18 years of age can have 'father's visa'.

Requirements to obtain residence visa for family members:

Marriage Certificate ( as this is a muslim country, children should be conceived after marriage date)
Birth Certificates / Adoption papers
Photocopies of passport (yours and your family members)
Photographs
Your salary certificate from Dubai based company

First two documents above should be notarised from country of origin and stamped by Ministry of Foreign Affairs here in Dubai.

As soon as the visas are issued, your family can come in Dubai and finish the remaining procedure, i.e., do the medical test from government approved clinics, and submit this (to be sure, bring same documents above to be sure) to immigration department.

Processing depends if you pay additional fees for 'urgent' and you will finish everything in 3 days' time or wait for 3 weeks if you pay normal amount.

As for your parents, you can either get a visit visa (valid for 60 days stay plus 30 days extension), then renew this for another visit visa or get your parents on residence visa (for which more papers are required!) I can give the list to you, if you want. However, if you are a citizen of a country with bilateral agreement, they can stay for 30 or 60 days depends if your country is on the list or not, otherwise, go for visit visa and keep on renewing till they leave.
Go through mex
bring ur marriage license, they're strict on dat.
take insurance for ur family.
u can get R status within 3 months if u dunt go out of Dubai.

psl vote if that helped!
Don't quote me on this...I may be wrong but this what we are doing. My husband is an expat in Romania. We all 4 came over knowing we had 90 days to stay without a visa at 60 days my husband and I applied for our visa because they take 30 days to be finished. Now after my husband and I are approved we will apply for a reuniting family visa or something similar to that so the girls will be approved. I would suggest you contact your local embassy and find out exactly what you need to do in Dubi cause I am sure it is somehwhat different or perhaps the company you work for can provide someone to assist you, that what was done for us. The company had someone take us and help fill out paperwork as well as photos and all that stuff. Sorry if I was not more of a help but hopefully this can point give you an idea.
Contact the nearest U.S. Embassy or Consulate. You will have to immigrate them here.
IF YOU ARE A US CITIZEN YOU HAVE TO FILL OUT PAPER WORK ON YOUR WIFE AND CHILD. THIS CAN TAKE UP TO 6-9 MONTHS FOR THE TO INVESTIGATE THEM TO SEE IF THEY WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE COUNTRY. THIS IS IF ONLY YOU ARE A AMERICAN CITIZEN YOUR SELF. IF YOU ARE NOT YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO SEND FOR THEM, ONLY THEY CAN REQUEST TO COME TO THE US.
