Yes, I am. Everyone is so worried about the poor illegal immigrants, they didn't have food or jobs, lbah, blah, blah. What about the poor Americans and there are many, why don't they care that they don't have any food or medial insurance or homes to live. Doesn't being a good American mean taking care of our own population that has no help ? Don't try to remove a splinter from a persons eye without removing the logjam in your own. I think immigration, even legal, should be put on hold until every American has the basic needs for survival.

While I do agree with how you feel with regards to illegal immigrants, I would, however, like everyone here to spare a thought on the tough backgrounds most of these illegal immigrants come from. Most of them have hardly any food to eat back home, live in poverty and very harsh conditions to put food on the table. This is why these illegal aliens become 'illegal' in the first place because they cannot afford a decent life back home. It is really a blessing to be born in a first world country like ours. However, at the same time it would be selfish and inconsiderate not to spare a thought for those from less fortunate background who are only really trying to make an honest living for themselves.

Immigration is good to any country, undoubtedly immigration is one of the key factors that made the US a world leader. Illegal aliens, on the other hand, have no respect for the US and they only want to benefit from other's work.

Most def. sick and tired of hearing about illegals. Keep wondering WHY they just plain don't start enforcement of the laws against the company that hires them - and deporting those that are breaking the law.
Legal immigration? Think that it needs to be looked into as well. People come into this country with work permits and on a VISA - but the gov. can't even keep track of where these people are - let alone when the VISA or work permit expires if they actually LEAVE the country.
Then the company that gets those from outside of the country to work - over citizens even - needs to totally be addressed.
When a company has a CEO that is making MILLIONS and they start talking about 'needed cuts' - why is it that they always start at the lower levels and never consider that the MILLIONS that they are making really needs to be one of the first places that a cut needs to be made - if they were really being HONEST about their claims?
