U.S.A is a good country to live... if you're American.
You will have to overcome a lot of condescending attitudes, and prejudices, in order to be accepted there for who you are and not what you are (an immigrant).

There's plenty of cities to choose from....just depends on what weather you like and what you like to do.....I think its a great country...We have more freedom here than any other country on this earth. People from other countries think that America is terrible b/c we invaded Iraq and politics and what not. Once they live here, then they can judge, otherwise they should keep their crap to themselves. =) There's many diverse cultures here and tons of great food..
Most of the states have good Universities.....My opinion is gonna be biased since I live in southern California, but its a great place to live....You can surf, water ski and snowboard all in the same week without going very far. There's plenty of Universities and Junior Colleges as well as ITs. Weather is always good....

Consider the USA like a hijacked puttering vehicle and they offer you a ride. Forget the muffled voice of the true owners in the trunk (Indians on reservations) or the gun to the head of the mechanics and drivers (Middle East oil and Africans).
Come on in - the water is fine! If you have a shred of self respect and decency, stay away form the USA. It is hell bound.
The USA is a good place - whether you're coming here to study or to work. And you obviously speak English, so you'd fit right in. We have excellent universities from east to west, from north to south - take your pick. To help you determine which city to choose, I suggest you do some research (Internet is good) and at the same time, get opinions/advice from your countrymen who had experienced studying or living here. What could be more reliable than that?

The USA is probably the easiest country in the world to fit into the culture. Like most other countries, if you can speak the language (ENGLISH), you are readily accepted by it's people. The diversity of the country will allow just about anyone to find their place. There is opportunity enough for anyone wanting a peaceful existence.
I always find it so hypocritical of those that criticize the country yet they live here and enjoy it's benefits. Go criticize it in your heritage country or keep your mouth shut!
For those that choose to bring their culture with them and refuse to learn the language (like many Hispanics), they are not accepted or wanted and there may come a time when they all get kicked out because of it.

its like everywhere else, some places are good, some are not so good depending on where you live.
Check into an Education visa first, find out what is actually open for you.
Then check into schools, most schools will give huge breaks for foreign students to come study there. There are many websites that have schools listed and the costs of living associated there.
If you are new to the country I would suggest staying in the more populated cities. Don't get me wrong, smaller towns are great, but if you are from out of the country sometimes they look at you like a science project, but they will still love having you there.
The USA is a Great country to live in. For 29 yrs, I've been living in the United States. The US, like every country/land/place inhabited by humans, has it's Positives and Negatives. Be clear on what you want and you will discover it's here. And if it's not yet here, the US is the kind of country that Encourages the pursuit of dreams, Supports new ideas and Provides assistance to those wanting/wishing/willing to do Good. Bettering one's self makes the world a better place to live.
Music can be studied throughout the US, as can IT. I would suggest first researching the schools that offer both. Specify "what" you want to focus your studies on, under these two general catagories.
You claim that "you don't have so much money" and it looks to be creating some concern over your $$ ability to afford the "cost of living, in the US". Consider this, having much or not so much money, regardless what country you live in, there's no financial "cost of dying". Don't let money prevent you from living...

Why not stay in your own country, learn something over there and help build up your country? I'm just wondering. We already have our own problems with immagration and jobs/US money going over to other countries. You decisions are yours....Good Luck...
