Lazy politicians who believe two wrongs make a right! All we need to do is to enforce our Laws! Apparently that is too difficult for some people.
Amnesty is a joke, it rewards illegals for breaking the law. The Mexican population is exploding out of control because of their big-family mentality. They are having WAY too many children than they could ever support or employ. It has to destroy them, and if we try and rescue them, it will destroy us in the process. Amnesty isn't the solution to the real problem.
It won't work . It will only make things much much worse !
Only the politicians are buying into that myth . they are afraid to offend a potential voter.

Uhmm. Well, people are not well informed for one thing.
And I know you're not gonna pick me as best answer, and that you're probably gonna report me, but I'll just say that you're not well informed either.
No known terrorist has entered the USA though the Mexican borders. If a terrorist crossed the border by land, he hasn't done anything and probably won't.
Also, a lot of them are actually legal immigrants. I don't know why people would think otherwise.
I don't think sealing the borders is gonna solve anything. If Mexicans wanna come in, they will.
I worked at McDonald's for like three years and most of my co-workers were illegal immigrants, and the oncs that were lucky enough to get paid the minimum wage carried ice machines on their back and did pretty crazy feats. I don't think a wall protected by the best army soldiers could stop them.
If you really don't want them to come in, it would be a great idea to put pressure on industries and franchises like McDonalds for example, that go into those countries and crush all competition, damaging the country's economy greatly.
But honestly, I think people are making too big of a deal out of it instead of focusing on issues like what will we do in thirty years when the average world tropospheric temperature is 200 F.
I think it balances out: they come here and send money back home, and they work for such a low pay that the company grows and expands to their country and destroys their economy and brings the earnings to the USA. Then it's up to people to sue those companies for the most stupid reasons and get big money out of them.
Those that made out their papers in 86 are now US citizens and those new US citizens are votes that can make you win or lose an election !!
nobodys perfect and this land wasent made for ONE kind of race. so i think that immigrants should get the amnesty becuz some are hardworking ppl that wanna come over here and work to support there family thats living in poverty in there native country. and anyways NOBODY IS NATIVE FROM THIS COUNTRY AND INDIANS WERE THE ONES WHO LIVED IN THIS COUNTRY FIRST .so stop being racist and allow ppl chances .just like you say that ppl coming from other countries mayb terrorist ,there are terrorist EVERYWHERE INCLUDING U.S.A CITIZENS
Actually, the economy did get a boost from the amnesty of 86. Immigrants are much more likely to start businesses than American citizens, especially those of us who were born here.
Most of us dream a socialist perversion of the American Dream while immigrants, including those from Mexico and countries further south, still desire to start and build a business.
The country was able to absorb it in 86 for a number of reasons that don't apply now and even if it did, there is one huge difference. The numbers will be very different this time.
The biggest difference now is the economies are so terrible south of the US, that when amnesty is offered, tens of millions of new immigrants will flood this country. The economy could be crippled, close to the extent of the crash of 1929.
Does anyone think Canada will let 50 million or so of us in their country if that happens? I have my doubts.
The fact is, it will not work, never has, never will. I was told that very few took part in 1986, the reason I got was, they ( the illegal aliens ) thought it was a trap, come out in the open, and get deported.

More then ever the way things are in Mexico with all the similarities here of organized crime and drug dealing,crooked authorities etc.-etc. But to higher extremes there. Would be a privileged to get the hell out of the corruption going on these days with no holds bar. And to think that these folks entering the US are on the cartels payroll is crazy. Or that they want to come to further mess it up is as well not admitting fault for our ignorance.
