I don't see how a guest worker program can work. History shows once the vista expires no one is leaving any time soon and they remain in the country illegally than we're right back to where we started, they just want a better life, they just want to work. To me this is like the twilight zone the matter gets solved then it returns time after time. America will have to have an amnesty until the end of time.
No I don't think he's going to do anything to benefit this country. I think he needs to stay where his concerns lie....Mexico.
A guest worker program is the absolute best solution for the illegal immigration problem we have in the US. That way, those who truly only want to come here to work, and have not had the resources to overcome the difficulty of legal immigration, can come here, work, and return home to Mexico. It's a win-win. The American economy is more dependent upon them than you think.
Amnesty by another name is all it is. And what will that accomplish? The same thing the last amnesty did - invite millions more to break our laws with impunity and wait for the NEXT amnesty.

If the guest workers were able to have a license to drive a car, they would be able to buy insurance so that they could cover their damages in case of an auto accident.
