if we handled illegal immigration the way mexico does, we wouldn't have as big a proplem as we do now. when we catch an illegal alien we let them go until we catch them again. in mexico you get caught once and get thrown in jail. you'd think the government would be doing more to stop something as desrtamental to our country as illegal immigration.

I agree completely. They should have thought of that before they left their country of origin. Even the Bible says that the sins of the parents are visited on the children. Their family reunification only became important when they got here to our PC nation. They knew a lot of people would be horrified at that thought so they're milking it for all it's worth.

I know for a fact.many immigrants had their family members throw everything they had into a pot just so 1 family member could make it in the US. This "story" about America always basing everything on "family unity" is BS.
If "family unity" was so important.then why is it only single mothers are supposed to get welfare and not poor "families". Why did so many steel workers divorce their wives to be able to get help for their family because being married made it impossible to get? If they were really concerned about "family unity" they wouldn't make it easier for a family to split than to have a family stay together. I know from personal experience my parents could have gotten tons of services for their care IF they got divorced. Not.as long as they stayed married. I could have gotten a free ride if I lied and said I wasn't married when I was. You don't support "family" and then do everything in your power to keep them apart. Unless laws have changed or the illegals learned the loopholes....according to old laws.you should be charged with "fraud" for being married and lying about it. Or being "single" and lying about his income. One time is a mistake.half a dozen kids isn't. Immigrants deserve "understanding" but not a total re-write of our culture and laws to make their transition easy and more profitible to be a law breaker and lier than it is to be a law abiding citizen.
