If My husband leaves this country(US) Can I work? He is on L1 visa and I am on L2 visa. I have work permit?

My husband is on L1 Visa..If he has to go to our country.Can I work ..I have L2 visa ..I got work permit valid till 2008..

Answer:
If his company is sending him back to his native country to work in the position before he was transferred internally, you cannot work. L2 is a dependent of L1 and with L1 holder not working means L2 cannot work as well.

If he is going for a temp visit or going to another country on business you can continue to work.
Ask your lawyer.
